The Lunchbox is a world premiere musical set in bustling Mumbai, where a lunchbox delivery meant for one man lands in the hands of another, sparking an unlikely bond between a young wife longing to be seen and a widower nearing retirement. Based on Ritesh Batra's internationally acclaimed film, the show is directed by Tony Award-winner Rachel Chavkin and features a score by the Lazours. The cast is led by Manu Narayan and Kuhoo Verma, with an ensemble including Hashini Amarasinghe, Savidu Geevaratne, Akshara Gunda, Anisha Nagarajan, and others. The production has been extended through July 5, 2026 due to audience demand and critical acclaim.
