Disney's Beauty and the Beast at Woodminster Summer Musicals

This lovable stage version of Beauty and the Beast, adapted from the 1991 Academy-Award winning animated Disney film, was a steppingstone to 2017’s live action film. This is the story of Belle, a smart and heroic young woman, the Beast, a prince trapped under a spell, and his entire enchanted household, complete with dancing tableware. This live musical is performed outdoors in historic Woodminster Amphitheater in Oakland’s beautiful Joaquin Miller Park, by a large cast and live professional orchestra. Come early and enjoy a stroll along hillside trails, views of the bay, and a picnic before the show.
