A LIFE IN THE THEATRE a play by David Mamet
Robert, is a stage veteran while John is a young, promising actor. As the play goes on they are involved in a variety of productions, and gradually their relationship begins to change. In 90 minutes of short vignettes, the two actors run through every backstage story you've ever heard, during which they make 28 costume changes! - Missed cues, wardrobe malfunctions, dropped lines, broken props - are all staged with comic dexterity in this fast-paced and fun revival, the show's first production on Broadway.
