TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS To Close At Town Hall Theatre Co. Season

Town Hall Theatre Company will conclude its 2025-2026 season with TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS, based on the book by Cheryl Strayed and adapted for the stage by Nia Vardalos.

Co-conceived by Marshall Heyman, Thomas Kail, and Vardalos, the production will begin with preview performances on June 4 and 5 before officially opening June 6. The run will continue through June 27 at Town Hall Theatre Company in Lafayette, California.

ABOUT THE SHOW

Based on Strayed’s anonymous advice column “Sugar,” TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS centers on letters from readers seeking guidance about grief, love, addiction, relationships, and identity. Through a series of interconnected stories, the play examines empathy, vulnerability, and human connection.

The production contains adult language and themes including grief, addiction, and relationships.

“We chose Tiny Beautiful Things to close our season because it reflects the very heart of our work, connection, empathy, and community,” said Executive Director Morgan Dayley in a statement. “These stories are raw, honest, and deeply human. As a season finale, it feels especially meaningful to gather together and hold space for these voices, reminding us that even in our most uncertain moments, there is beauty in being seen and heard.”

TICKETS AND SPECIAL EVENTS

Mainstage tickets are priced at $25.

Pay-What-You-Can preview performances on June 4 and 5 will begin at $2, and a senior matinee performance on Thursday, June 18 will offer $10 tickets.

Opening Night attendees may also purchase a special pre-show reception add-on featuring light bites, a drink ticket, and an opportunity to meet members of the creative team before the performance.
