Coronado Playhouse, the Community's Theatre, closes out its 70th Anniversary Season with A Holiday Cabaret on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 7 pm. Featuring many of CPH's favorite performers, the stage will be transformed into a 'Coronado Coffeehouse' with a piano, open microphone and plenty of the season's most popular songs for the most wonderful time of the year. Audiences are invited to relax in a casual setting with cocktails or coffee and sing along to classics that include The Christmas Song, Jingle Bell Rock, Baby It's Cold Outside, Silent Night and an original song Dance With Me Santa.

San Diego Musical Theatre is proud to announce the cast and creative teams for its two holiday productions this season. For the final year SDMT brings Irving Berlin's White Christmas to the historic Spreckels Theatre, with book by David Ives and Paul Blake, directed by Todd Nielsen. White Christmas runs November 25th- December 4th with press opening today, November 25th. SDMT will also present the World Premiere of Miracle on 34th Street: A Live Musical Radio Play directed by Colleen Kollar Smith, adapted by Lance Arthur Smith, with original music by Jon Lorenz. Miracle on 34th Street runs December 1st - 23rd at the Horton Grand Theatre, with press opening on Thursday, December 8th.

Les Liaisons Dangereuses was adapted by Christopher Hampton in 1985 from an epistolary novel of the same title by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos, 1782. Although an army general and never before a writer, it has been said de Laclos intended to (in his own words), 'write a work which departed from the ordinary, which made a noise, and which would remain on earth after [his] death'. It is universally agreed he achieved his ambitions with his masterpiece, Liaisons.
