In-demand director Stafford Arima (Broadway's Allegiance, Off Broadway's Altar Boyz, West End's Ragtime) returns to the Globe, following Allegiance and Ace, to helm the award-winning drama, which runs March 25 - April 30, 2017.

The University of California, Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (BAMPFA) will present the first solo museum exhibition of works by Erica Deeman, a San Francisco-based photographer whose images explore the subtleties of black female identity. Erica Deeman: Silhouettes is the first comprehensive presentation to date of Deeman's Silhouettes series, composed of thirty large-scale portraits of women from the African diaspora. Organized by BAMPFA Director and Chief Curator Lawrence Rinder, the exhibition will be on view from March 8 through June 11, 2017.

Laguna Playhouse Artistic Director Ann E. Wareham is thrilled to announce the fourth show in the Laguna Playhouse 2016-2017 season, Hershey Felder as OUR GREAT TCHAIKOVSKY, written  by Hershey Felder, music by Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and directed by Trevor Hay. "This might be the most powerful piece of work that Hershey and Trevor have ever brought to the Playhouse. Tchaikovsky's story is as relevant and important today as it was in the 1800s," says Wareham.  OUR GREAT TCHAIKOVSKY will begin previews on Today, March 1; will open on Sunday, March 5 at 5:30pm and will run through Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.

Marquee Productions will present the Tony Award-winning Stephen Sondheim musical Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street April 21-30 at the historic Montgomery Theater (271 Market Street, downtown San Jose). Marquee Productions, a division of CMT San Jose-the longest thriving arts organization in Silicon Valley-made its debut in 2005 with a goal to re-engage CMT alumni performers, who donate their performance time as a benefit to the organization. The McCallum Theatre presents Michael Feinstein and 'Isn't It Romantic' today, February 25, at 8:00pm. Michael returns with an evening of America's most romantic music from The Great American Songbook, reprised from his sold out Broadway run. Almost a million copies have been sold of his Isn't It Romantic album. Michael will be accompanied by a 17-piece band that will contrast with the beautiful piano solos for which he is known. Michael Feinstein has built a dazzling career over three decades bringing the Great American Songbook music to the world. From 5 Grammy nominated albums to Emmy nominated PBS specials, acclaimed NPR series, and concerts at The White House, Buckingham Palace, Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall and Sydney Opera House, his work as an educator and archivist define Michael as a force in American music.
