Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Opens January 20 at Elmwood Playhouse in Nyack NY
The Elmwood Playhouse of Nyack NY presents the Rockland premiere of "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde", a new play adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher from Robert Louis Stevenson's "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde". Debra Lee Failla directs this shocking version of the classic tale of depravity, lust, love and horror.
Hatcher's re-imagining of Stevenson's 19th century novella offers a haunting examination of the duality of man, challenging our notions of good versus evil.
“Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” runs January 20 thru February 11, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm, Sundays at 2:00 pm. Reserved seat tickets are $24.00, $21.00 for Seniors and Students General Admission.
The Elmwood production features John Ade (of New City), Neil Battinelli (of New City), Dana Duff (of Nyack), Victor Gallo (of North Caldwell), Scott Nangle (of West Nyack),and Meg Sewell (of Valley Cottage). Original music is by Benjamin McCormack (of Trumbull, CT).
