As Lexi tries to untangle what really happened the night her best friend died, reality fractures into flashbacks, dorm-room debates, digital overload, and deliciously gruesome horror satire.
Wildly funny and sneakily devastating, Hookman skewers teen speak, campus politics, and our culture of distraction—while digging into something much darker: responsibility, complicity, and what it means to become an adult in the 21st century. Is the Hookman real? Is grief the real killer? Pay attention to the clues.

Maurie Moore (she/her) Lexi, Producer
Maurie is a NYC based actor and figure skater. Originally from North Carolina, Maurie began her love of performing on the ice which extended through 11 years of competitive figure skating. She recently had the immense honor of combining acting and figure skating in the upcoming film Freestyle, which will premiere at Tribeca Film Festival summer of 2026. Maurie was featured in Lorne Michaels’ pilot series (Future) Cult Classic in 2019 and upon completion of filming, she began her study of acting at Boston University’s School of Theatre and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Since relocating to NYC in 2023, she has continued her studies at the Bob Krakower studio, building a career that is rooted in authenticity and entrepreneurship.

Madelyn is thrilled to be collaborating with Bold Proposal on this production! After receiving her BFA at Boston University, Madelyn has been working as an actor, theater educator, and makeup artist in both film and theater. Previous acting credits include Don’t Let Me Fall (NYU Short Film), La Lengua No Tiene Hueso (Boston Center for the Arts), Mother May I (Boston Center for the Arts). Additional credits across disciplines include Excalibur by Horsepower (Music Video), Win or Move by I.V.A.N (Music Video), Frozen JR (Broadway Rise), among others. Charlotte B. Um (은아) (she/her) Yoonji
Charlotte is a University of Michigan graduate. Trained in classical ballet from age two, her work explores movement as a form of expression. A proud Korean American, she is passionate about expanding representation in the arts. Much love to her nephews Maxwell (기호), Malachi (기현), and Ezra (기석). Nicolette Mango

Nicolette Mango (she/her) Chloe
Nicolette is a New York City based actress and a graduate of Boston University’s BFA Acting program. During her studies at BU, she originated the role of Abigail Adams in Obie Award winner Kirsten Greenidge’s play Little Row Boat; Or, Conjecture, originally commissioned by Yale Repertory Theatre. In 2022, she studied Classical Acting at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Since relocating to New York, Nicolette has continued her training across a range of techniques and disciplines, with a focus on Strasberg technique at The Acting Class, Inc., and most recently a semester of Advanced Scene Study through the Juilliard Extension Drama Division. From stage to screen, she is drawn to raw, bold, and emotionally grounded stories that capture the range of the human condition. Deeply curious about human behavior and connection, she is especially interested in exploring what is universal to the human experience and what is unique to the individual.

Nallely Pineda-Turcios (they/she) Kayleigh
is absolutely thrilled to be making her debut with Bold Proposal at the Chain Theatre in Hookman. Recent credits include Jo March in Little Women, Young Woman in Machinal, and Officer Barrel in Urinetown at Rutgers University-Camden, as well as Mama Morton in Chicago, and ensemble in The Merry Widow and The Pirates of Penzance at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. She is currently studying Musical Theatre and Psychology at Rutgers University-Camden. Nallely is a non-binary Latina artist from Brooklyn, NYC, and is excited to continue growing as a performer. Endless thanks to friends and family for their love and support.
Keith Robinson

Keith Robinson (he/him) Hookman
Keith has always stood out—literally. Standing over 6-feet tall by the age of 13, Keith was used to being treated like a character long before he started acting. Based in NYC, Keith has a BFA in Acting from Boston University, a classical acting certificate from LAMDA, and he currently studies acting with Joan Rosenfels. Some of Keith’s most recent credits include: A Man of No Importance (Robbie), Sunday in the Park with George (George), Legally Blonde (Warner), The Great Gatsby: An American Musical (Nick Carraway), and Save the Whales (Todd). For his work in A Man of No Importance, Keith was awarded the Thomas Derrah Emerging Artist Award from SpeakEasy Stage.

Shamus is a Queer theatre maker focused on new works and musical theatre. He currently serves as Producing Director of NYC’s Bold Proposal and Producing Artistic Director of Philadelphia’s Shakespeare in Clark Park where he won the 2025 Barrymore Award for Outstanding Outdoor Production as Director and Producer of J.C. Pankratz’s All’s Well. He directed the Barrymore Award Nominated Two Gentlemen of Verona the musical and commissioned & directed original adaptations including A Bottom’s Dream and Comedy of Errors: Real Housewives of Ephesus all with SCP. He is co-creator of the original musical Close Your Legs, Honey and a Founding Company Member of physical theatre company Die-Cast. He has developed work with Philadelphia Theatre Company, Playwright's Center, PlayPenn, Boston Playwrights' Theatre, Cannonball, PrideFest at the Tank, Samuel French OOB Festival & others. Shamus earned his MFA in Directing from Boston University and serves on faculty at Rutgers-Camden where he has directed Urinetown, Machinal & Little Women. E is a director, writer, and stage manager based in Queens, NY. Most recently, they directed 101 Dalmatians Kids with Open Arts Alliance in Greenwich, CT. They are happy to announce they are returning to OAA for Aladdin Jr. this summer. They are so thrilled to be working once again with Shamus and their fellow BU alumni, and hope you enjoy the show!
