Slapstick Sonata is a performance that combines Mozart's sonatas with the grotesque comedy of silent film era, literally a merge of classical art and popular culture. Visual poetry meets with absurd comedy circus and contemporary expression. Aerial acrobatics, clownish tomfoolery, dance, live music and theatrical elements are connected in a freely flowing stream of references from classical opera and silent film.
