The World We Create: Portland Queer Arts Spectacular 2026 is the third annual multidisciplinary queer arts event produced by Portland Queer Arts Foundation, taking the stage at the Alberta Rose Theatre on September 19 and 20, 2026. Under the artistic direction of Daniel Switzer (he/him/they) — whose credits include Wicked, Newsies, Disney's Frozen, and Mean Girls on Broadway — the production explores queerness as a generative force for seeing, making, and reimagining the world. The evening unites drag, dance, vocal performance, spoken word, short film, and visual art under a single cohesive vision, building on the success of the 2025 Spectacular, Do You See Me?
