Spongebob, The Musical at HART Theatre

STAGES Performing Arts Youth Academy is thrilled to announce its upcoming production of Spongebob, The Musical, (Youth edition)  Opening on Friday, May 9, this delightful show will run through Sunday, May 25, 2025 bringing this exciting musical that features irresistible characters and magical music, this deep-sea pearl of a show is set to make a splash with audiences young and old.

Directed by Victoria White, a stages alumni, with Alison Luey taking on vocal direction and Luis Ventura heading up the choreography.  Plunge into this stunning all-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show! When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up.

Cindy Wilkins, Executive Director of STAGES  shared her excitement about this child-friendly story and states that with all the fun, it is an incredibly ambitious show.  Our youthful cast has pulled out all the stops to make their visit to Bikini Bottom memorable with striking visuals and cast performers who made the zany roles their own.

The audition process for this show was daunting as there were 90 teens who auditioned for the main roles. The cast features Eva Thomas as Spongebob, Quinn Marxen as Squidward, Lennon Herrara-Orr as Patrick and Sandy is played by Lillian Thomas.
