LAKEWOOD THEATRE COMPANY PRESENTS THE MUSICAL

FUNNY GIRL

APRIL 24 - JUNE 7, 2026

Hello, Gorgeous!

I'm the greatest star! I am by far, but no one knows it!

LAKE OSWEGO, OR, April 6, 2026 – Legendary comedienne and Ziegfeld star Fanny Brice (Melissa Gale) has all the qualities to become Broadway’s next big star: the voice, the charm, and plenty of chutzpah. But does she have “the look”? This heartfelt musical comedy traces her unlikely rise to fame with the Ziegfeld Follies and her tumultuous romantic relationship with gambler Nick Arnstein (Nick Serrone). Featuring one of the greatest musical scores of all time, Funny Girl includes timeless classics like “Don’t Rain on My Parade,” “I’m the Greatest Star,” “People,” and much more.

Lakewood’s production of Funny Girl is directed by Dennis Corwin. The music director is Cyndy Ramsey-Rier, and the assistant director/choreographer is Laura Hiszczynskyj.
