Simply Simone is a musical created by David Grapes and Robert Neblett, with arrangements by Vince di Mura and directed by Patdro Harris, exploring the life and legacy of singer and activist Nina Simone. The production examines Nina as a character at various stages of her life, exploring themes of freedom, self-expression, and the courage to live fully and unapologetically. It closes out the Portland Playhouse Season 19 mainstage lineup.
