The toes will be tapping and hands will be clapping as the Salt River Brass steps into the big band era. We’ll bring the 1977 movie New York, New York to life when trombonist Bill Tole, who appeared in the movie as the legendary Tommy Dorsey and currently leads the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, serenades us with his Dorsey favorites: Song of India, Opus One, and I’m Getting Sentimental Over You. Percussionist Dan Bukvich keeps the beat for us, and Margo Reed, who is widely known as the Valley’s “Queen of Jazz and Blues,” returns to share her amazing musical storytelling.
