The National Latine Playwrights Award Festival at Arizona Theatre Company celebrates its 28th year by inviting submissions from Latine playwrights living in the U.S., its territories, or Mexico. The festival showcases works that can be submitted in English, Spanish, or a combination thereof. The selected winner will receive a $2,500 award and gain visibility for their work, which can achieve productions both nationally and internationally. Esteemed past award recipients include notable writers such as Kristoffer Diaz, Caridad Svich, and Charise Castro Smith, highlighting the festival's commitment to elevating Latine voices in theatre.
