Freedom for a Night at Circus Campus

After a successful Off-Off Broadway run, Freedom for a Night: the untold stories of the Real Housewives of Greek Mythology, a fun female empowering genre-bending circus stage play written by Caytha Jentis and directed/choreographed by Maia Ramnath, is a Circus Campus Fringe Fest Hub selection as part of this year’s Philadelphia Fringe Festival.

Through aerial performance, spoken word, song, and dance, the iconic “dangerous” women of ancient Greek mythology step out of the shadows and reclaim their narratives. Characters including Medea, Medusa, and Circe tell their stories in their own words, challenging the myths that defined them and the systems that silenced them. The cast includes some of New York Cities best circus artists.
