Among the performers was Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Darren Criss who performed the rapid-fire patter of Stephen Sondheim's "Getting Married Today" from Company. Criss was joined by Ward Billeisen, Michael James Scott and the Broadway Backwards ensemble.

A bevy of Broadway's brightest stars joined a sold-out audience on March 11, 2019, to celebrate and motivate the LGBTQ community and its allies through gender-reversed renditions of beloved show tunes, spectacular choreography and a record-breaking fundraising total at Broadway Backwards. New York City Center presents Irving Berlin's ANNIE GET YOUR GUN: IN CONCERT starring Megan Hilty, who three years after starring in the Encores! production of GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES, returns to City Center as Annie Oakley. Hilty is joined by a Tony-honored cast including Andy Karl, Chuck Cooper, Judy Kaye,Brad Oscar, and Ron Raines. Check out a sneak peek of the cast in action below!

To round out its 65th season, Music Circus presents HAIR, the groundbreaking musical that defined a generation and introduced rock 'n' roll to Broadway. Set against a backdrop of the Vietnam era, a group of late 1960s youth join a social revolution and 'Let the Sun Shine In.' THE CONCRETE JUNGLE will have a CD Release Concert at the Cutting Room on March 6 featuring: Kate Shindle as Vanessa, Marissa Rosen as Abby, Nick Dalton as Guy, Jason Gotay as Simon, Anne Brummel as Claire, Jodi Bluestein as Katie, and Geoffrey Kidwell as Dunkan. The concert will also feature songs from the Broadway bound W2ML performed by Gerard Canonico and Mallory Bechtel, the award winning DAYBREAK performed by Erik Sisco, and the 2012 Alec Baldwin Fellowship recipient 'TIL DEATH DO US PART performed by Ward Billeisen, Jackie Vanderbeck, Brett Teresa & Lizzie Hagstedt.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center announced today that the eighth annual edition of BROADWAY BACKWARDS will feature Academy Award winner and four-time Tony nominee Estelle Parsons (Nice Work If You Can Get It), two-time Tony Award winner Judy Kaye (Nice Work If You Can Get It) and two-time Emmy Award-winning comedian Bruce Vilanch.

On Saturday, May 19, 2012 Broadway Sings for Pride (www.BwayPride.org) in conjunction with the TADA! Youth Theater joined over twenty-five Broadway, Off Broadway, and National Tour performers to remind everyone 'it gets better.' The song, which included TADA!'s Resident Youth Ensemble, was done to promote equality and stop bullying. 'It Gets Better' was written in 2010 by composers, Jay Kuo & Blair Shepard after a string of LGBT suicides across the country. This song will be featured in Broadway Sings for Pride's Second Annual Gay Pride Concert on Monday, June 25, 2012 in Manhattan. For tickets and information, click here.
