STAGE TUBE: Watch Highlights of LEGALLY BLONDE at California Music Circus

With a cast featuring Broadway veterans and Music Circus audience favorites, the musical comedy Legally Blonde makes its Music Circus premiere to kick off the 66th season. Performances are Tuesday, June 14 through Sunday, June 19 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion. BroadwayWorld brings you a first look at the cast in action below!

In this production of Legally Blonde, Lauren Zakrin, who made a rockin' Broadway debut as Sherrie in Rock of Ages, makes her Music Circus debut as the energetic Sorority star Elle Woods; previously she understudied Natasha and Sonya in the Off-Broadway Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, and was in the touring productions of Wicked, Grease and Legally Blonde. James Michael Lambert, playing Emmett Forrest, was seen in last summer's Music Circus productions of Hair as Woof and Big River as Tom Sawyer, toured with Mamma Mia! andHappy Days, and has performed in regional theatre productions across the country. Paul Schoeffler, returning for his ninth summer at Music Circus as Professor Callahan, appeared last season as Capt. Hook in Peter Pan and Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady, as well as performing on Broadway in Rock of Ages, Sweet Charity, Peter Pan, and Beauty and the Beast, among others. Warner Huntington III will be played by Jordan Bondurant, who last appeared at Music Circus as Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof and recently spent time on Broadway in A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder. Ryah Nixon, whose past credits include the 1st National Tour of 9 to5 the Musical, as well as regional productions including Beaches and Moonshine: The Hee Haw Musical, will be playing Paulette Bonafante.

Grace Stockdale will appear as imprisoned workout mogul Brook Wyndham, having previously played Nicola in the First National Tour of Kinky Boots and appearing in a number of regional and Off-Broadway productions. Shannon O'Boyle, seen on Broadway in Once and recently inBerkeley Repertory Theatre's production of Amelie A New Musical, as well as numerous New York readings and regional Theater Productions, plays Vivienne Kensington. Elle's sorority sisters Margot, Pilar and Serena will be played by Alexandra Fassler, seen in The Wizard of Oz National Tour and as a singer for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular; Brinie Wallace, who's performed with the The Muny in recent productions of Hairspray and Buddy: The Buddy HollyStory; and Lauren Chapman, who appeared on Broadway and with the 1st National Tour of Kinky Boots. Ryann Redmond joins the cast as Enid, having previously performed in If/Then on Broadway, as well Bring It On the Musical, originating the role of Bridget on Broadway and on tour.

Rounding out the Legally Blonde cast are Lindsey Bracco, Lara Hayhurst, Grace Hardin, Shanon Mari Mills, Jessica Wockenfuss, Elyse Niederee, Michelle West, Connor Wince, Ward Billeisen,Seth Danner, Eric Anthony Johnson, Justin Schuman, Adam Lendermon, Matthew Kilgore andBen Chavez. And playing Elle's lovable dog Bruiser is Chico, a Chihuahua who played that role in the Broadway production of Legally Blonde and was trained by William Berloni, renowned for his humane training of animals for stage, film and television.

Legally Blonde will be directed by Michael Heitzman, a multi-award-nominated director and current resident director of the Lucille Lortel Awards, who directed the critically acclaimed 2015 Music Circus production of Big River. Choreographer Mara Newbery Greer has choreographed a number of regional Theater Productions, including A Christmas Story: The Musical, Fiddler On The Roof and Oliver!, and performed on Broadway and in national tours, in London, and at regional theatres across the United States. Musical Director Darren R. Cohen has worked on a number of Broadway and Off Broadway shows, including A Chorus Line, Chicago and Fosse, as well as several productions at Music Circus and other regional theaters nationwide.
