The Public Theater's WE ARE ONE PUBLIC, a one-night-only star-studded virtual event to support The Public, will take place on Monday, June 1. A new video has been released of host Jesse Tyler Ferguson hilariously making his rounds of phone calls to the stars who will appear in the event.

The entire original Broadway cast of Hamilton has reunited - virtually - for a performance of Alexander Hamilton on John Krasinski's YouTube series, Some Good News.

Christopher Jackson was a guest on the Monday, February 24 episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan to talk about his CBS series Bull. During the interview, hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest brought up the recently announced Hamilton film.

Maureen Towey wrote and directed In The 8th Year of the Emergency, a short film that stars Broadway stars including Phillipa Soo (Hamilton), Mary Beth Peil (The King & I, Anastasia), Linda Emond (Cabaret, Death of a Salesman, Life x 3), Jeffrey DeMunn (K2), and Emmy nominee Marsha Stephanie Blake (When They See Us).

The 2017 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were handed out last night to recipients in 19 categories, with three honorary awards also bestowed. The Lortel Awards were distributed in a ceremony at NYU Skirball Center hosted by actor and comedian Taran Killam.
