The Prom is coming to a city near you, and you won't need formal attire to attend. The hilarious hit Broadway musical comedy, will officially launch its national tour from Cleveland's Playhouse Square on November 2, followed by a multi-season tour that will visit more than 20 cities in the 2021-22 season. BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge spoke to two of the show's stars, Kaden Kearney (they/them), who plays Emma and Patrick Wetzel (he/him), who plays Barry.

 The original Broadway and London casts of The Drowsy Chaperone have reunited in song for a virtual fundraiser! The performers came together to sing 'As We Stumble Along (Reprise)'.

This week marks the thirteenth anniversary of the opening night of the Tony Award-winning musical The Drowsy Chaperone at Broadway's Marquis Theatre! To celebrate the occasion, we're throwing it back to the show's opening night featuring Broadway favorites including Sutton Foster and 2019 Tony Award nominee Beth Leavel. Anyone Can Whistle is the final New York City Center Encores! production of the 2009-2010 season and will run for five performances April 8 - 11. The show will be directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw with musical direction by Rob Berman.

Recently, Upright's Chris Isaacson attended the opening night of 'Minsky's' at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles.

'Minsky's' opens February 6, 2009, at Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre and continues through March 1 (previews began January 21).

Minsky's is a big, racy, new musical comedy set in a time when entertainment was about legs and laughs, and you had to push the limits to keep the customers buying tickets. A rollicking backstage story, set in Prohibition Era New York City. Tony Award winning costume designer Gregg Barnes talked about his creations for MINSKY'S on the show's official site in a wonderful audio/video essay that we are excited to bring you here on BWW TV!
