GRAMMY Award-winning musician and artist Salvador Santana has teamed up with longtime friend and musical peer Asdru Sierra of the GRAMMY Award-winning group Ozomatli for a new project and today they've released the official music video its lead single, “Canvas.” Filmed in their hometown of Los Angeles, the video enhances the song's message: a visual celebration of personal expression. On this day in 1998, the original Broadway production starring Audra McDonald, Marin Mazzie, and Brian Stokes Mitchell opened at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts.

Ragtime, based on E.L. Doctorow's 1975 novel and featuring a book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty, and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens will run June 13 - July 1 on the Main Stage at the Labuda Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of DeSales University.

Asolo Rep continues its 2017-18 season with the celebrated American musical RAGTIME. Check out video of the cast in action below! Directed by Peter Rothstein, founding artistic director of Theater Latte Da in Minneapolis, RAGTIME features a book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, who all garnered Tony Awards for the production. The original Broadway production was directed by Frank Galati, who received a Tony nomination for his work and is an Associate Artist at Asolo Rep. A collaboration with Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre, RAGTIME is currently on stage through May 27 in the Mertz Theatre, located in the FSU Center for the Performing Arts.
