The Lexington Theatre Company completes their fifth summer season, combining 'Today's Broadway Stars and Tomorrow's Broadway Hopefuls' with Disney's Newsies, August 1-4 at The Lexington Opera House. The educational mission of 'The Lex' centers around training the next generation of musical theatre artists, as college students from around the country perform alongside and learn from seasoned pros.

Broadway's original Elle Woods, Laura Bell Bundy, returned to her hometown of Lexington, Kentucky to co-direct The LEXington Theatre Company's production of Legally Blonde. The Tony nominated actress teamed up with The LEX Artistic Director Lyndy Franklin Smith (A Chorus Line, The Little Mermaid), for her directorial debut. Check out highlights from the show below!

The brand-new Lexington Theatre Company presents its inaugural production of 42nd Street. Tony Award Winner Karen Ziemba, will play Dorothy Brock, alongside other Broadway veterans and up-and-coming actors. 42nd Street is presented by Variety Live at The Opera House with Co-Producing Sponsor Kentucky One Health, and runs July 23, through July 26 at the Lexington Opera House.
