Adjudication in the 2018 Kleban Prize for the most promising musical theatre lyricist category resulted in a tie between Alan Schmuckler and Amanda Yesnowitz, and the 2018 Kleban Prize for the most promising musical theatre librettist has been awarded to Christian Duhamel.

The Curran today released a music video of the song 'Ring of Keys,' from the Tony Award-winning musical Fun Home, which will re-open the Curran this January after an extensive renovation that is currently underway (and pictured in scenes from the video). The song, written by Tony Award-winners Lisa Kron and Jeanine Tesori, and performed by students from Oakland School for the Arts (OSA), is in celebration and support of GLAAD and 'Spirit Day' on October 20, 2016, a day that encourages all to take a stand against bullying of LGBTQ youth and wear purple. Today, the company of FUN HOME wanted to say one last thank you to their fans for their incredible run by making a video, created by Perry Sherman, to Anna Kendrick's 'When I'm Gone'.

The best of Broadway will be performing FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2016' - a lunchtime series that continued this week, July 28 on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 16th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday.

Last night the current Broadway cast of the Tony-winning musical FUN HOME performed a special concert version of the show at Orlando's Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts to benefit the victims of last month's tragic events at the Pulse Nightclub and Equality Florida.

Hosted by Tony nominee Sean Hayes and Mo Rocca, Broadway's best once again turned out for the annual performance - including FUN HOME's Beth Malone, Emily Skeggs and Gabriella Pizzolo, who performed 'Flying Away.'
