John Michael Coppola, from Chicago's long running production of JERSEY BOYS, will bring his solo concert, A JERSEY VOICE: Sinatra to Springsteen...And Everyone In Between to three states. Featuring song selections from the 1940s through present day, the set list includes songs made popular by such artists as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and of course, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Coppola understudied and performed the role of Frankie Valli in the Chicago production of the Broadway hit.

President Barack Obama made his first appearance on NBC's LATE NIGHT WITH Jimmy Fallon last night. The special broadcast was taped from the campus of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on Tuesday to air that same night. Tony Award winner Alice Ripley is prepping a new solo recording for Sh-K-Boom Records, the same label that released her 2000 debut album Everything's Fine and the acclaimed original cast recording of Next to Normal. Daily Practice: Volume 1 will feature acoustic covers of songs from artists like Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Carole King, Alanis Morissette, Carly Simon and U2. 'It's a collection of songs that I play every day,' Ripley told Broadway.com in an exclusive chat about the new CD. 'I pick up my guitar every day, especially at times where I don't know where I am or who I am. My guitar reminds me... Reminds me of why I wanted to sing and who I am and what I have to say.'

Martha Plimpton recently appeared on the program Studio 360, performing the Bruce Springsteen hit, 'Thunder Road.' She was joined by Dan Lipton on piano and Eric Gilliland whistling. The performance took place at WNYC's Jerome L. Greene Performance Space on May 6, 2010.
