Tony nominated actress Jessie Mueller, currently starring in the Tony Award-winning musical comedy Nice Work If You Can Get It, appeared on NBC's 'Today' this morning, May 9th in the 10:00 a.m. hour as part of Kathie Lee and Hoda's 'Everyone Has a Story' segment. Mueller sang 'For You', co-written by Lee for 7-year-old AJ Kelm, who is battling a rare form of epilepsy, and his mother. Click below to watch! Roundabout Theatre Company's Tony Award-winning production of Anything Goes plays its final show on Broadway today, July 8, at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. Directed and choreographed by 2011 Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall, the original limited engagement subscription run opened on April 7, 2011, and was scheduled to run for 19 weeks. It went on to be extended three times through July 8, 2012, and Anything Goes recently celebrated its 500th performance on Broadway. This acclaimed production marks the second longest Broadway run in Roundabout's history, following its beloved revival of Cabaret. The cast's Raymond J. Lee wrote to BroadwayWorld: 'To the most amazing cast and crew a guy could ever ask for....It has been a pleasure sailing with all of you on the SS American. Block will join the Tony Award winning company of Anything Goes performing the role of 'Reno Sweeney' while Sutton Foster is filming the television pilot, Bunheads, for 3 weeks beginning tonight, November 4. As previously reported, Roundabout Theatre Company recently announced a new block of tickets now on-sale through April 29th, 2012 for their Tony-winning production of Anything Goes. It was originally scheduled to run through Sunday, July 31st, 2011. The production currently stars 2011 Tony Award winner Sutton Foster as 'Reno Sweeney' and Tony and Academy Award winner Joel Grey as 'Moonface Martin,' and is directed and choreographed by 2011 Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall. Recently, BroadwayWorld checked in with the production to scope out the backstage scene.
