New York, please look after this bear. As BroadwayWorld reported last month, the record-breaking, smash hit, seven-time Olivier Award-winning Best New Musical  PADDINGTON The Musical will begin performances Tuesday, March 30, 2027 and officially open Sunday, April 18, 2027  at Broadway’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

The PADDINGTON THE MUSICAL original cast recording has topped the Official UK Compilation Chart, becoming the fastest-selling physical West End cast recording of the 21st century, recorded at Abbey Road Studios.

PADDINGTON THE MUSICAL, winner of 7 Olivier Awards and 9 WhatsOnStage Awards, has extended its West End run through February 13, 2028, with best ticket availability from Winter 2026.

Decca Records has announced that the new album, ‘Paddington The Musical - Original Cast Recording', will now be brought forward and released digitally on 10 April 2026.
