It is a typical day at Polyphonic Studios. Chuck V is in the beat lounge working on a mix for a client, while ZYG 808 is in the control room at the boards, engineering a vocal session for Mwalim, as he adds backing vocals to 'DoYou Mind IfWeDanceWitYoDate?', a remix of the band's 2016 Indie Blues hit single.

Joining the Christmas song pantheon of such holiday favorites as 'Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer' and 'Walking 'Round In Women's Underwear' is 'XMAS MORNING' the latest original by multi-Grammy nominated indie soul band, The GroovaLottos. Released on November 25, the song is already making a significant smash on Spotify, Apple Music & Youtube.

Soon to join the ranks of 'Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer' as a quirky Christmas favorite is the new and original, 'Xmas Morning' by The GroovaLottos.

The album 'BoOMBAPJAZz' by Grammy-nominated, New England-based, Hip-Hop Jazz artist and producer, The ZYG 808 is causing quite the buzz in rap, nu-jazz, and alternative/ jam band markets as sales and streams continue to rise. With three of the seven cuts on the album being instrumental works featuring the young artist's prowess on lead vibraphones, it is clearly not the average hip-hop record by the average hip-hop artist.

Saturday, November 23, 2019, at 3pm, Zion Union Heritage Museum will host a special performance of the piece 'BRONX JAZZ' by father and son duo, Mwalim and ZYG 808, followed by a special book and album signing of their respective upcoming releases. This event is free and open to the public.

The LOUNGE is a bi-monthly program by the Cape Cod NAACP Youth Committee, Oversoul Theatre Collective, and the Zion Union Heritage Museum, presenting jazz, soul, and spoken-word -with an open mic for community people- on the second Saturday of October, December, February, April and June at the Zion Union Heritage Museum on North St in Hyannis.

Hip-Hop Jazz artist, The ZYG 808 has been playing the Boston Jazz Fest since he premiered in their 'Youth Jazz Artist's' showcase five years ago. Last Saturday he showed the 2000+ person crowd that he can not only run with the big boys, but lead them, as the 16 year-old headliner demonstrated his prowess as a percussionist, rapper, singer, and band leader.

Grammy nominated Hip-Hop Jazz Artist, The ZYG 808 will be the featured performer at the June 26th VerBaLizatIon, Boston's longest running spoken-word series and open mic. Verbalization takes place at the Fort Hill Bar & Grill, 2805 Washington St, Roxbury, MA 02119. Doors open at 6:30 pm for a 7pm show.

Actor rehearsal, band rehearsals, re-writes, guest artist appearances to confirm, it looks a lot like theater in the lower level of the Governor Bradford Restaurant as Oversoul Theatre Collective gears up for it's summer run of 'The Soul Session' a musical theater piece written and directed by award-winning playwright and GroovaLottos keyboardist, Mwalim.

The Cape Cod Human Rights Commission recently hosted their Human Rights Academy for high school students, hosted at Cape Cod Academy. Students from 11 of the fourteen public and private high schools on Cape Cod participated. This year the keynote speaker was Hip-Hop Jazz artist, ZYG 808 who performed his song 'Insanity' and delivered a rousing keynote speech on the importance of leveling the social playing field to achieve effective human rights work by recognizing and eradicating the socially engrained elements of white supremacy in our society.

Grammy nominee, The ZYG 808 will be one of three acts and artists featured in the Music Mania TV Showcase, which will be filmed live at Cambridge Community Television on Sunday, January 13th - 438 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge. Doors will open at 5pm for a 5:30 start time. Also set to perform are Gospel hip-hop act, 'No End In Sight' and soul singer Jenny Jones.

Grammy nominated Hip-Hop Jazz artist and Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Member, The ZYG 808 Delivered the keynote speech and performed for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation's Native American Heritage Program.

Tuesday night the Native American Music Association announced to top nominees for the 2018 Native American Music Awards and once again, Liberation Multimedia recording artists are on the ticket!

The fact that rap music has been infiltrated and derailed is not news to any true hip-hop fans, but little by little comes a generation of Emcees putting it back on course and returning to lyrical skills and tight beats. Among them stands The ZYG 808 who has spent the summer as a part of The Phunk Hits 2018 tour, moving audiences with his dynamic stage show and ability to play drums and rhyme at the same time.

Grammy Nominated soul band, The GroovaLottos will be playing at SOB's on September 1st. Almost as impressive as their live show are the musician's foundations as backing players for the who's who of classic and contemporary soul music.

The Phunk Hits 2018 makes it's first stop in New York to promote the big Labor Day weekend show at SOB's. Meanwhile, the guys made new friends and fans in the parks of Manhattan.
