BroadwayWorld congratulates Erika Henningsen and Kyle Selig on their marriage! The pair, who starred together in Mean Girls on Broadway, tied the knot yesterday with a ceremony officiated by their Mean Girls co-star Grey Henson.

Porchlight Music Theatre is presenting the Chicago premiere of the critically acclaimed musical comedy Ernest Shackleton Loves Me, music by Brendan Milburn, lyrics by Val Vigoda, orchestrations and additional music by Ryan O’Connell and book by Joe DiPietro, at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, now playing in a limited run through June 1 only. The York Theatre Company has announced that Marie Grace LaFerrara will join the staff as the Executive Director, effective immediately. Ms. LaFerrara brings her passion in developing and building relationships, mentoring, team building, problem solving and fostering connection through authenticity to The York.

Luke Wilson will present the world premiere of Gas by Charles Cissel. Directed by Felicia Lobo, Gas is a visceral exploration of war.

​​​​​​​New York Festival of Song (NYFOS) hosts its annual spring gala, Feelin' Groovy: Songs from the 60s, on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at the Racquet & Tennis Club on Park Avenue. In support of NYFOS's 35th season, the gala features a performance of songs by Laura Nyro, Simon & Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell and the Beatles, along with some Motown hits.

The York Theatre Company is presenting its first GenYork Concert, featuring composers, librettists, and performers all under the age of 35.
