Fat Ham begins previews tonight, Tuesday, March 21, 2023, and will officially open on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the American Airlines Theatre. This is a 14-week limited engagement through Sunday, June 25, 2023.

Pleasant High School (MPHS) will present Delaware's first-ever high school production of Disney's Frozen: The Broadway Musical, as part of the nationwide competition The United States of Frozen: Love Is an Open Door. The production features 30 student actors; 22 pit musicians, including 8 student musicians; 25 student stage crew members, and 3 student assistants (Student Director, Student Choreographer, and Stage Manager).

Azuka Theatre continues its 2022/2023 season with the World Premiere of All My Mothers Dream in Spanish by AZ Espinoza, from March 1 to March 19, 2023, at Proscenium Theatre at The Drake. Azuka Theatre teams up with Teatro del Sol for this new work that will be directed by José Avilés, with movement direction by Keila Cordova.

Inis Nua Theatre Company is premiering the first Mainstage production of their 19th season with the American premiere of Meet Me at Dawn, written by Scottish playwright Zinnie Harris. Meet Me at Dawn will be directed by Sam Tower and stars Hannah Gold and Jackie Soro. The show runs until March 5, 2023. All performances will take place at the Louis Bluver Theatre. The Flea has announced the complete cast and design team for the world-premiere production of HANG TIME, the new play written and directed by Pulitzer Prize finalist Zora Howard.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, has announced the recipients of the first and second rounds of the 2022-23 Edgerton Foundation New Play Awards. The awards, totaling $725,000, allow 17 productions extra time for the development and rehearsal of new plays with the entire creative team, hoping to extend the life of the world premiere play after its first run.
