Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, has announced the participants in the sixth round of its Rising Leaders of Color (RLC) Program.

Amanda Seyfried will receive the Montecito Award at the 36th annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Seyfried will be honored on Friday, April 9th and will be recognized for her impressive career and performance in David Fincher’s MANK from Netflix, for which she recently received Golden Globe and Critic’s Choice nominations.

The spirit of innovation is alive in Kaufman Music Center's Winter/Spring online concert season, offering a wide variety of creative programs. On Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 2pm and Friday, August 21, 2020 at 2pm, Kaufman Music Center presents a free, two-part online listening event of the entire cycle of composer Lisa Bielawa's Broadcast from Home, an inspired musical response to the shelter-in-place measure put in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On August 14, composer, vocalist, and producer Lisa Bielawa releases Blueprints I, a digital-only album featuring ten world premiere recordings of Bielawa's compositions. Her five-concert residency at The Stone (a performance initiative founded by John Zorn) in NYC was to take place the very week in March 2020 that the city went into lockdown.
