This week, the beloved Jason Robert Brown musical The Bridges of Madison County celebrates the fifth anniversary of its Broadway opening at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre! In honor of the occasion, we're throwing it back to the show's Broadway rehearsals with current Kiss Me Kate star Kelli O'Hara, Steven Pasquale, and more singing the lush Tony Award winning score! Lindsay Mendez and Ryan Scott Oliver's ACTOR THERAPY is pleased to announce that enrollment is open for their third annual Summer Intensive. This intensive is comprised of two separate programs: College Prep (ages 15-19), running July 15-26; and New York or Bust! (ages 18-28), running July 29-August 9 in New York City.

Rhinebeck Writers Retreat is presenting a private reading of the new musical, THE PROXY MARRIAGE, book and lyrics by Michele Lowe and music and lyrics by Adam Gwon, on May 7 in New York City, which includes actors Jason Tam (Jesus Christ Superstar Live on NBC, Broadway: A Chorus Line, If/Then), Whitney Bashor (The Bridges of Madison County), Anika Larsen (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Avenue Q), and Daniel Jenkins (Mary Poppins, Billy Elliot, Big River). The reading is directed by Lonny Price (Sunset Boulevard starring Glenn Close) and music directed by Vadim Feichtner (Falsettos Broadway revival).

Broadway-Bound BEACHES Musical Will Play London in 2019

According to Entertainment Tonight, the long-anticipated Broadway premiere of Beaches the Musical will have to wait until after a London run. Iris Rainer Dart, who wrote the novel on which the musical is based told ET: 'We're just listening, refining, redoing and seeing which songs work and which ones don't.'
