Sally Cookson's PETER PAN To Open At Troubadour White City Theatre This July

Get set for an awfully big adventure as the National Theatre's magical retelling of J M Barrie's PETER PAN, a thrilling story for audiences of all ages devised by the companies and directed by Olivier Award-winner Sally Cookson (Jane Eyre, A Monster Calls), will open at Troubadour White City, a new theatre in West London, this summer.

Coming All The Way from the UK to the Hollywood Fringe Festival: DROUGHT

DROUGHT, written and performed by Kate Radford, is a song-story for women. A musical battle cry. It is for the women that have been and the women to come. DROUGHT is a piece of art activism. Its aim as a piece is to challenge narratives in which women are subject to violence at the hands of male redemption, and how violence in our storytelling perpetuates violence in our culture. It explores mythological narratives, culture, and female representation in an integrated art form. DROUGHT opens at the Hollywood Fringe Festival June 20th at Studio C - 6448 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90038.

TROJAN HORSE Will Embark on UK Tour

Following a hugely successful run at Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2018, LUNG's bold verbatim drama is set to return for a national tour, marking the first time the show has visited communities directly affected by the inquiry. Drawing on over 200 hours of interviews conducted with teachers, students, parents and governors, Helen Monks (Raised By Wolves, Inside No. 9 and Upstart Crow) and award-winning playwright and director Matt Woodhead uncover the truth behind the local story which made national press, accusing 'hardline' Muslim teachers and governors of plotting extremism in Birmingham schools.

Hoxton Hall Presents CHASING RAINBOWS

An exciting new play by performance poet Oneness Sankara premieres at Hoxton Hall in London. Chasing Rainbows runs from Tuesday 25 June to Saturday 20 July at 7.30pm. The play is directed by Karena Johnson, who is also Artistic Director of Hoxton Hall.

Donmar Warehouse Announces Full Casting For EUROPE

The Donmar Warehouse today announces full casting for Artistic Director Michael Longhurst's inaugural Donmar production Europe by David Greig. Joining previously announced cast members Billy Howle (Berlin), Kevork Malikyan (Sava), Faye Marsay (Adele), Stephen Wight (Billy) and Shane Zaza (Morocco) will be Theo Barklem-Biggs as Horse, Ron Cook as Fret and Natalia Tena as Katia.

Full Cast Announced For THE SWEET SCIENCE OF BRUISING

Troupe today announces full cast for the The Sweet Science of Bruising by Joy Wilkinson which transfers to Wilton's Music Hall, following its sold-out run at Southwark Playhouse last year. Kirsty Patrick Ward directs Owen Brenman (Professor Charlie Sharp), Celeste Dodwell (Violet Hunter), Jane How (Aunt George), Tom Lorcan (Paul Stokes), Emma McDonald (Anna Lamb) and Wilf Scolding (Gabriel Lamb) alongside returning cast, Ashley Cook (Doctor James Bell), Alice Kerrigan (Emily), Jessica Regan (Matilda 'Matty' Blackwell) and Fiona Skinner (Polly Stokes). The production opens at Wilton's Music Hall on 7 June, with previews from 5 June, and runs until 29 June.

New Productions And Further Casting Announced For Theatre Royal Bath's Summer Season 2019

Theatre Royal Bath today announces four additional productions - Vienna 1934-Munich 1938, The Life I Lead, Trying It On and The Man in the White Suit, to complete its Summer Season 2019 programme and further casting with Katherine Parkinson, Janie Dee as well as Vanessa Redgrave, Miles Jupp and David Edgar among the stars set to take to the stage in both treasured classics and acclaimed new works.

Full Cast Announced For Samuel Adamson's WIFE

Celebrating one year since the re-launch as Kiln Theatre, Artistic Director Indhu Rubasingham today announces the full cast for Samuel Adamson's Wife. Rubasingham directs Richard Cant (Peter/Ivar at 58/Landlord), Karen Fishwick (Daisy/Clare), Pamela Hardman (Character Actress /Marjorie/Embassy Assistant), Joshua James (Robert/Finn/Ivar at 28), Calam Lynch (Eric/Cas) and Sirine Saba (Suzannah). The production opens on 4 June, with previews from 30 May, and runs until 6 July, coinciding with London's Pride parade.

Susan Penhaligon Will Join The Cast Of THE MOUSETRAP UK Tour

Television star Susan Penhaligon (Bouquet of Barbed Wire, A Fine Romance, Emmerdale) will join the cast of Agatha Christie's legendary whodunnit as Mrs Boyle this summer as it continues on a major UK tour. Susan Penhaligon will take over the role from Gwyneth Strong (Only Fools and Horses) from 15 July at Malvern Festival Theatre through to and including Birmingham Alexandra Theatre until 16 November 2019. Directed by Gareth Armstrong, the timeless thriller returned to the road by popular demand in January 2019 and has been earning standout reviews from critics and public alike as it continues to visit more than 40 venues, travelling the length and breadth of the country.

Sharon D Clarke, Debbie Kurup, and More Will Lead BLUES IN THE NIGHT

With the critically acclaimed The Son currently running at Kiln Theatre, and with Inua Ellams' The Half God of Rainfall in rehearsals, Artistic Director Indhu Rubasingham today announced the full cast for Blues in the Night - Susie McKenna directs Sharon D Clarke (The Lady), Debbie Kurup (The Woman), Clive Rowe (The Man) and Gemma Sutton (The Girl) the first major London revival in 30 years. The production opens on 24 July, with previews from 18 July, and runs until 7 September.

The Big House Announces Return Of BULLET TONGUE RELOADED

The Big House today announces the return of Bullet Tongue Reloaded a promenade piece at the new home of The Big House in Islington. Written by Andrew Day and Sonya Hale, the production tackles the topic of County Lines and was developed with a young cast many of whom are directly affected by this issue. The production opens on 24 May, with previews from 22 May and runs until 15 June.

The Lost Estate Announce The World Premiere Of THE LOST LOVE SPEAKEASY

Following the sell-out success of The Great Christmas Feast, The Lost Estate today announces its latest experience, The Lost Love Speakeasy. Written by award-winning playwright Juliet Gilkes Romero and set within an illicit world built by designers Abby and Alice, it is a Jazz Age tale that sweeps audiences from the African American fishing villages of South Carolina to the glittering lights of Broadway. Woven into the story are classic songs from the era arranged by Steffan Rees, and decadent plates from Temper Restaurants' Executive Chef Neil Rankin each inspired by this epic journey.

Cast Announced For Bim Adewunmi's Debut Play, HOARD At Arcola Theatre

It was announced today, 28th March, that the cast for Guardian and BuzzFeed journalist Bim Adewunmi's debut play, Hoard at Arcola Theatre will include Ellen Thomas (EastEnders),Emmanuella Cole (National Theatre's An Octoroon), Kemi Durosinmi (Arcola Theatre's The Secret Lives of Baba Segi's Wives), Tyler Furose (The Globe's Much Ado About Nothing), andElizabeth Ita (The Favourite).

Danny Mac to Star in AMELIE at the King's Theatre

West End performer, Strictly Come Dancing favourite and television actor Danny Mac will star in of Amelie the Musical during the show's run in Glasgow this summer.

Full Casting Announced For A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS

A Thousand Splendid Suns, Khaled Hosseini's spiritual sequel to The Kite Runner will have its European premiere at Birmingham Repertory Theatre from 2 - 18 May before playing at partner venues Northern Stage (30 May - 15 June) and Nuffield Southampton Theatres (25 June - 6 July). The show will also tour to Hackney Empire (22 -25 May).
