Susan Penhaligon Joins the UK Tour of THE MOUSETRAP

Television star Susan Penhaligon (Bouquet of Barbed Wire, A Fine Romance, Emmerdale) will join the cast of Agatha Christie's legendary whodunnit as Mrs Boyle at Theatre Royal, Glasgow this month.

Casting Update Announced For GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE BEARS At The London Palladium

Qdos Entertainment today announce that Janine Duvitski will play Mummy Bear, Sophie Isaacs will play the title role of Goldilocks and Lauren Stroud will play Baby Bear in the 2019 London Palladium Pantomime Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Performances begin at the London Palladium on Saturday 7 December 2019 for a strictly limited 5-week run until Sunday 12 January 2020.

Kiln Theatre Announces Productions For 2020

With her production of the world première of Anupama Chandrasekhar's When the Crows Visit in rehearsals, Artistic Director Indhu Rubasingham today announces Pass Over, A Museum in Baghdad and The Glee Club which will be staged at Kiln Theatre in 2020, following the previously announced Snowflake by Mike Bartlett.

Full Casting Announced For Sheffield Theatres' Major Revival Of GUYS AND DOLLS

Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres, Robert Hastie today announces the full casting for his revival of Guys and Dolls - Natalie Casey (Miss Adelaide), Darragh Cowley (Lt Brannigan), Dafydd Emyr (Big Jule), Jacob Fisher (Harry the Horse), Adrian Hansel (Benny Southstreet), Dawn Hope (General Cartwright), Kadiff Kirwan (Sky Masterson), TJ Lloyd (Nicely-Nicely Johnson), Matthew Malthouse (Rusty Charlie), Martin Marquez (Nathan Detroit), Ross McLaren (Angie the Ox), Garry Robson (Arvide Abernathy), and Alex Young (Sarah Brown) with Shaquille Brush (Havana Boy), Frances Camier (Havana Girl), Charlotte Coggin, Adam Denman, Emily Dunn, Tash Holway, Samantha Hull, Kate Playdon and Anthony Starr. The production opens on 12 December, with previews from 7 December, and runs until 18 January 2020.

RACE CARDS, A Participatory Installation By UK-Based Artist Selina Thompson Comes To BAM

UK-based artist Selina Thompson's Race Cards is an individual and immersive approach to examining thoughts about race and identity. Audience members enter a rooma?"one by onea?"surrounded by 1,000 different questions about race posted on index cards. Each participant is invited to answer one question and write a response. The questions were written by Thompson over an extended period of time, and the work's international exhibitions to date (in the UK, Canada, Brazil, Australia, and the US) have revealed a global range of attitudes toward race.

Watford Palace Theatre today announce full cast for Patrick Hamilton's classic psychological thriller, Gaslight. Richard Beecham directs Hannah Hutch (Nancy), Sandra James-Young (Elizabeth), Jasmine Jones (Jack Manningham), Tricia Kelly (Inspector Rough) and Sally Tatum (Bella Manningham). The production opens on 7 October with previews from 2 October and runs until 26 October.

With Blues in the Night about to open at the theatre, and The Son soon to transfer to the West End, Artistic Director of Kiln Theatre, Indhu Rubasingham, today announces the full cast for her production of the world premiere of Anupama Chandrasekhar's When the Crows Visit - Ayesha Dharker (Hema), Bally Gill (Akshay), Mariam Haque (Uma / Kavita), Asif Khan (Gopi / Inspector), Aryana Ramkhalawon (Ragini), Paul G Raymond (David) and Soni Razdan (Jaya). The production opens on 29 October, with previews from 23 October, and runs until 30 November.

Casting Announced For A DOLL'S HOUSE At The Lyric Hammersmith Theatre

The Lyric Hammersmith Theatre today announces the cast for A Doll's House, the first production directed by Rachel O'Riordan in her inaugural season as Artistic Director. Written by Henrik Ibsen and adapted by the award winning Tanika Gupta, this new take on an old classic explores gender politics, ownership and race in 1879, Calcutta.
