Complete casting has been announced for Mrs. Doubtfire, the new musical that will have its world premiere this holiday season at The 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle, playing November 26 a?' December 29, 2019.

This just in! Mrs. Doubtfire, the new musical based on the film of the same name, will open on Broadway this coming spring at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. Previews will begin Monday, March 9, 2020 in advance of an official opening night on Sunday, April 5, 2020.

Cape Rep Theatre will present the regional premiere of SOMETHING ROTTEN!, book by Karey Kirkpatrick & John O'Farrell, music and lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick & Karey Kirkpatrick, conceived by Karey Kirkpatrick & Wayne Kirkpatrick, November 6 through December 8, Tuesdays through Thursdays at 7 pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, and Sundays at 2 pm. No performances November 26, 27 & 28. Tickets are $35 and $40. Pay-What-You-Can-Night is the first Friday, November 8th. Shenandoah University has announced the U.S. university premiere of the musical a?oeSomething Rotten!a?? The Tony Award-winning musical opened on Broadway in 2015 and has already completed two major tours.

Producer Kevin McCollum announced today that the new musical, Mrs. Doubtfire, will premiere at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre this fall on route to Broadway.  The musical features a book Karey Kirkpatrick and John O'Farrell and music and lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick, the Tony Award nominated team behind Something Rotten!  Four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks (Hello, Dolly!) will direct and Lorin Latarro (Waitress) will choreograph.  Ethan Popp (Tina) will serve as Music Supervisor.

Musical Theatre West (MTW) returns to the Carpenter Performing Arts Center with a line-up of West Coast regional premieres, Tony Award -winning classics, and a new family favorite, opening with the West Coast regional theater premiere of Something Rotten! (October 18 November 3, 2019); Ragtime (February 7 - 23, 2020); Mame (March 27 - April 12, 2020); and the West Coast Regional Premiere of Treasure Island (July 10 - 26, 2020).
