Cape Rep Theatre will present the regional premiere of SOMETHING ROTTEN!, book by Karey Kirkpatrick & John O'Farrell, music and lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick & Karey Kirkpatrick, conceived by Karey Kirkpatrick & Wayne Kirkpatrick, November 6 through December 8, Tuesdays through Thursdays at 7 pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, and Sundays at 2 pm. No performances November 26, 27 & 28. Tickets are $35 and $40. Pay-What-You-Can-Night is the first Friday, November 8th. Producer Kevin McCollum announced today that the new musical, Mrs. Doubtfire, will premiere at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre this fall on route to Broadway. The musical features a book Karey Kirkpatrick and John O'Farrell and music and lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick, the Tony Award nominated team behind Something Rotten! Four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks (Hello, Dolly!) will direct and Lorin Latarro (Waitress) will choreograph. Ethan Popp (Tina) will serve as Music Supervisor.
