Bay Street Announces Holiday Performances: GOAT ON A BOAT and More Image

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the Goat On A Boat @ Bay Street line up through the rest of the year. Tickets range from $15 - $25 and are on sale now at baystreet.org and through the Box Office at 631-725-9500.

The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow will be presented on Saturday, November 24 at 11 am. In this comedic version of the classic Washington Irving tale, school teacher Ichabod Crane helps the Headless Horseman find a new head and a spookier image. Meanwhile, a jealous Brom Bones tries to run Ichabod out of town as they both vie for the affection of Katrina Van Tassel. Length of show is approximately 50 minutes. Recommended ages 4 and up.

The Joyfully Jolly Jamboree arrives in time for the holidays on Saturday, December 22 at 11 am. This intimate show is a sensational seasonal sing-along featuring original holiday tunes and a few favorite classics. Special guests include Mr. Nicholas - a sock puppet who is sure to make you smile. Whether age 3 or 103, the show will ignite your holiday spirit.

Go Home Tiny Monster will be presented on Saturday, December 29 at 11 am. The story features Sylvia and her family of homespun creatures who suddenly find themselves in need of a new home. Luckily, they have an audience full of people who can help them out.

Goat on a Boat is a non-profit puppet theater committed to introducing young children and their families to a lifelong love of theater and the creative arts since 2001. They are among only 50 established puppet theaters remaining in the country.

Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is a year-round, not-for-profit professional theater and community cultural center which endeavors to innovate, educate, and entertain a diverse community through the practice of the performing arts. We serve as a social and cultural gathering place, an educational resource, and a home for a community of artists.
