CHICAGO is BACK IN TOWN at the Fabulous Fox Theatre March 2-4 and its PURE ENTERTAINMENT!

Wagner College Theatre kicks off its 50th Anniversary Season with a staged reading of GAMERS, a new play written by WCT alum Scott Barnhardt '01, on Sunday, January 21 at 5:00pm at the Stage One Studio Theater. Admission is free.

BRIGHT STAR at Pioneer Theatre Company is utterly ravishing. The masterful performances and staging will take your breath away as they unforgettably illuminate the moving story and songs. Costello performed a new song that he has written for the musical at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel's fabled Cinegrill nightclub. In addition, the site reports that the project will be going into its third workshop in the near future.

Broadway shined brighter last night with the arrival of Meteor Shower, which officially opened at the Booth Theatre (222 West 45th St.). Meteor Shower stars Emmy Award winners Amy Schumer and Keegan-Michael Key, both in their Broadway debut, Tony Award winner Laura Benanti, Tony Award nominee Jeremy Shamos, and is directed by four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, San Francisco's Curran's will wrap up 2017 with the Tony Award nominated new musical BRIGHT STAR, from Grammy and Emmy winner Steve Martin and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Edie Brickell. Original BRIGHT STAR lead, Carmen Cusack, will revive her role, for which she received universal raves and a 2016 Tony Award nomination.

Todrick Hall will be returning to Broadway in CHICAGO as Billy Flynn beginning November 30th. Hall most recently appeared on Broadway as Lola in Kinky Boots.
