Producers of the Tony Award-winning, record-breaking hit musical Chicago have announced that Grammy Award-winner Brandy Norwood will return to Broadway for a special 17-performance only engagement as 'Roxie Hart,' August 17 to 31, 2017 at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.).

'Footloose' follows a Chicago teen, Ren McCormack, who recently moved to a small town where dancing and rock music have been banned. As he struggles to fit in, he also fights to change the minds of the conservative Reverend Shaw Moore and the entire town. The music is written by Tom Snow with lyrics by Dean Pitchford and additional lyrics by Kenny Loggins. The book is by Pitchford and Walter Bobbie.

Initial casting has been announced for Feinstein's/54 Below's BROADHURST AT 100!, a centennial celebration of the Broadhurst Theatre, on Wednesday, August 16th, 2017, at 7:00pm & 9:30pm.
