Wai Ching Ho ('Marvel's The Defenders'; ENDLINGS, New York Theatre Workshop), James Chen ('FBI'; 'The Walking Dead'), and Jon Norman Schneider (Bitter Melon; HENRY VI, PARTS 1-3, National Asian American Theatre Company) lead the cast and program of Second Generation Productions' (2g's) INFLECTIONS, five short new works about the undulations of the Asian American life, curated by Executive Producer Victor Malana Maog (Disney, American Conservatory Theater, Magic Theater, Cal Shakes). Jonathan Castanien (The Sống Collective, Atlantic Theater, Manhattan Theatre Club) produces.

SPEAKOUT: PROTEST PLAYS AND MORE Virtual Festival to be Presented by MultiStages

MultiStages will present 'SPEAKOUT: Protest Plays & More,' a virtual festival of multicultural multidisciplinary commissioned works, live on June 21 and recorded from June 22 to 25. The program is a 90-minute turntable of short plays, dance works and poetry exploring the essence of protest and activism.

The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today unveiled its feature film lineup. Continuing its tradition of elevating exceptional storytelling rooted in today's global film communities, the 18th annual Festival will showcase debut works from emerging talent and new works from notable filmmakers. The program includes discoveries, comedies, music-centered, political and social films. The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 24 - May 5.

BWW Review: ENDLINGS World Premiere at American Repertory Theater

With North Korea so much in the news these days, the American Repertory Theater is offering the opportunity to take a virtual trip to that part of the world with its production of Celine Song's new play, ENDLINGS. Set in part on South Korea's remote Man-Jae Island, and in part on the island of Manhattan, the Korean-Canadian-American playwright whisks us across borders, plunges us into the depths of the ocean, and endeavors to convey the immigrant experience and advocate for the concept that everyone has a right to just exist.

American Repertory Theater Collaborates With 7TILL8 Wetsuits

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Terrie and Bradley Bloom Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Producer Diane Borger, is collaborating with California-based 7TILL8 Wetsuits to manufacture select costumes for its upcoming production of Endlings.
