Barnstable Comedy Club is excited to announce the winners of its First Annual Playwright's Festival held last fall. Season. Sossi previously directed the West Coast premiere exactly 50 years ago, in the spring of 1970, as the second production ever at the then brand-new Odyssey Theatre. The Serpent opens on March 7 at the Odyssey's current home in West L.A., where performances will continue through May 3.

For the first time in its history, the French Institute Alliançe Francaise (FIAF) honored two women at its annual Trophée des Arts Gala on Monday, November 4th at The Plaza Hotel in NYC. This year's event honored actress and musician Charlotte Gainsbourg, who was recognized as someone who exemplifies FIAF's mission of French-American friendship and cross-cultural exchange. FIAF also fêted Ardian president Dominique Senequier, who received the Pilier d'Or for her contributions as a leading businesswoman to the French-American community.

The KVB have announced a fall North American tour. The newly announced dates will be the band's debut North American tour and are rescheduled from this spring's shows which were cancelled due to reasons beyond the band's control. All tickets purchased will be transferred to the new dates and any ticket refunds will be available from the point of purchase. The KVB will be touring in support of their new Submersion EP, which will be released digitally on October 4 and available as a limited edition tour exclusive vinyl. The EP is comprised of two unreleased tracks from the Only Now Forever recording sessions, along with three remixes/alternate versions of tracks from the album. The upcoming tour will kick off in San Diego and includes shows in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Philadelphia and includes festival performances at Desert Daze and Levitation.
