Nylon Fusion Theatre Presents What's The Big Idea? Myth / Reality Featuring new plays by John Patrick Shanley's 'The Estimate' and Natalie Menna's 'Steps.'

Continuing his cycle of plays about legendary African American entertainers, playwright Vincent Victoria and his company Vincent Victoria Presents, will be dramatizing the life of Lena Horne with the play 'Just Lena' June 28th-July 7th at Midtown Art Center.

The much speculated upon final track listing for AVICII: TIM, due June 6, is below. TIM is the first album of new music from Bergling since his unexpected death last year.  Work on a few of the tracks had been completed but several more needed final touches.   Bergling had left very clear notes about how he wanted to finish the music and who his production partners should be. You'll find them in the credits below.   

Yellow Sound Label and Broadway Records announced today that the Original Off-Broadway Cast Recording of RENASCENCE is now available digitally and at BroadwayRecords.com, and in stores on Friday, May 31. RENASCENCE won the 2019 Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best Musical and was originally produced Off-Broadway by Transport Group. RENASCENCE has music by Carmel Dean (musical director for If/Then, American Idiot), lyrics from the poems of Pulitzer Prize Winner Edna St. Vincent Millay, and a book by Tony nominee Dick Scanlan (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Everyday Rapture). Orchestrations are by Tony winner Michael Starobin (Assasins, Next to Normal). The album was produced by Michael Croiter (Matilda, Heathers), Carmel Dean and Dick Scanlan.

Dallas-based indie rock band, Air Review, are back with a new album, How We Got By, due out June 21, 2019. The Dallas Observer writes, 'It's been a while since we last heard from Air Review. In 2013, it was hard for local music fans to avoid the indie-rock crew, thanks to its addictive single “America's Son” receiving frequent airplay on KXT 91.7, in addition to their regular performance schedule. Another tune from Low Wishes, “Young,” was also given all sorts of rightfully deserved love from glossy publications and NPR.'

Directed by Danish model, director, and photographer, Helena Christensen, the beautifully haunting video captivates - as Nanna floats her way through frosty woods and an empty, dimly lit house, the sense of intimacy one feels while watching is palpable.
