PS CLASSICS will release the singular new album December Songs for Voice and Orchestra – performed by Victoria Clark and composed by Maury Yeston – in digital and streaming formats on Friday, November 11.

PS CLASSICS, the label dedicated to the heritage of Broadway and American Popular Song, has announced the release of the new album from award-winning nightclub and concert artist JEFF HARNAR – I Know Things Now: My Life in Sondheim’s Words on CD and digital formats.

The Philly POPS announced today that the 2022 kick-off of its popular Salute Series, Comcast NBCUniversal Memorial Salute, will take the stage on May 27, 2022 at 7 p.m at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts. Registration for military, veteran, police, firefighter, first responder, and frontline worker communities and their families will be available soon through affiliated bases and organizations. Free tickets are now available to the public.

Craft Recordings is proud to reissue You Must Believe in Spring, the celebrated 70th studio album from the pioneering jazz pianist Bill Evans. Recorded in 1977 and released in 1981, just months after Evans’ death, the album marks the artist’s final studio recording with bassist Eddie Gomez and drummer Eliot Zigmund and includes stunning performances of “We Will Meet Again (for Harry)” and “B Minor Waltz (for Ellaine).”

MAC Award Nominee and Broadway World Cabaret Award Winner, Becca Kidwell shares her experiences as an introvert during lockdown and post-lockdown in her new show, “Together Inside,” on April 30th & May 22nd at 4pm to Don't Tell Mama.  Becca brings her struggles and joys to life with the assistance of music director, Matt Baker, and her director, Jeff Harnar. 

Composers Concordance presents Tin Pan Allegiances on Saturday, May 15th at 6pm at Michiko Studios in New York City. The concert commemorates and pays tribute to NYC's Tin Pan Alley, where publishers of zillions of popular songs had their offices. Songwriters associated with Tin Pan Alley included George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, and Jerome Kern, among many others.

On Site Opera is bringing music back to the streets of New York City with The Road We Came, a three-neighborhood musical walking tour that explores Black music history, May 1-July 31, 2021, in collaboration with Kenneth Overton, Kevin J. Miller, and Eric K. Washington.

Juliet Stevenson leads an all-star female cast in this streamed production of  Steven Carl McCasland’s dinner party drama, Little Wars.  Joining Stevenson are Linda Bassett Debbie Chazen, Natasha Karp, Catherine Russell, Sarah Solemani and Olivier-recipient Sophie Thompson.

Philadelphia Theatre Company welcomes back everyone's favorite princesses for a heart-warming afternoon and evening concert for the entire family. During A Dream Is A Wish: Holiday Princess Concert audiences will sing-along with a gathering of  princes and princesses from popular movie musicals and television shows in a one-day-only event on Sunday, December 16, at 3:00pm and 6:00pm. Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite prince or princess. After the show, the cast will host  a meet-and-greet reception with holiday cookies, apple cider and photo opportunities. The Holiday Princess Concert will take place at Philadelphia Theatre Company at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (480 S. Broad Street). Broadway award-winning star and concert star Christine Andreas will release her newest album Christine Andreas Piaf-No Regrets on PS Classics   on November 9th , 2018.  Christine is currently touring the U.S. and abroad with her much-acclaimed one-woman show Piaf, No Regrets.  This new CD was recorded in London this past summer with a 36- piece orchestra, conducted and orchestrated by Larry Blank and produced by Martin Silvestri. Singing both in English and in French, Andreas draws from her one-woman show, where she was   lauded by The New York Times...'
