Shelley Cooper will bring her award-winning solo work, La Divina: The Last Interview of Maria Callas, to United Solo Theatre Festival on October 8th at 7PM. Ms. Cooper's captivating performance as Callas has had more than a dozen productions in the U.S. and abroad and has won numerous awards including at the Hollywood Fringe (Pick of the Fringe-Hollywood Fringe 2021) and Orlando Fringe (Best Individual Performance in a Drama Orlando Fringe 2021).

The Academy Players will debut their second musical, The Addams Family, at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center in Ocean Township, for two weekends, May 7-15, 2022. The Academy Players are the Musical Theater students of the Axelrod Performing Arts Academy (APAA) located at Bell Works in Holmdel. 

This year's graduating seniors have had anything but a normal high school experience and the past two years have taught them resilience, flexibility, and grace. Undoubtedly, they deserve a bit of celebration for their tenacity and courage. Luckily for students at Sonora High School, Todd Schroeder is back after a five-year hiatus to raise money for the Todd Schroeder Young Artists' Grant to benefit young graduates going into the arts. Todd himself is a graduate of Sonora High School who went on to a successful career as a pianist, composer, and music director. Since 1995, Todd has been giving back to the community with this grant. This year boasts an impressive lineup of celebrities, such as Jason Alexander of Seinfeld fame. Broadway World spoke to Todd about his organization and what we can look forward to at this year's benefit concert that will be happening in Sonora on April 30.

Billie Eilish revealed on social media that she will appear alongside “The Simpsons” family in the upcoming short titled “When Billie Met Lisa.” The all-new short, featuring OSCAR® and GRAMMY® Award-winning artists Billie Eilish and FINNEAS. The A.J. Fletcher Opera Institute at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a special gala concert featuring Fletcher alumni, current Fellows, the UNCSA Cantata Singers, and the UNCSA Symphony Orchestra in a program of selections from operatic favorites including “Don Giovanni,” “La cenerentola,” “L'elisir d'amore” and “Eugene Onegin.”
