In the new Disney+ series “Diary of a Future President,” we see the origin story of a future leader. Told using the narration of 12-year-old Cuban American girl Elena's diary, this new family comedy follows her journey through the ups and downs of middle school, which set her on the path to becoming the president of the United States. “Diary of a Future President” was inspired by creator Ilana Peña's (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) childhood and is produced by Gina Rodriguez's (Jane the Virgin) I Can and I Will Productions. Rodriguez directed the first episode and guest stars as grown-up Elena.

Hotter Project and Ellie Keel Productions today announce the return of the critically acclaimed HOTTER to Soho Theatre due to popular demand. Following sold out runs at Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Soho Theatre earlier this year, the production will run as a double bill with Hotter Project's currently running acclaimed show FITTER. The production runs for three performances, 27, 28, 30 December.

The Disney+ original series, “Diary of a Future President,” from I Can and I Will Productions and CBS Television Studios, will premiere on Friday, January 17.  Gina Rodriguez (“Jane the Virgin,” “Someone Great”) and Emily Gipson (“Someone Great”) serve as executive producers on the 10-episode series, along with creator Ilana Peña (“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”), on whose childhood the show was inspired, showrunner Robin Shorr (“The Carmichael Show”) and Brad Silberling (“Jane the Virgin”).

Small Things Theatre today announce the world première of Anything Is Possible If You Think About It Hard Enough, a new play by Cordelia O'Neill at Southwark Playhouse. Director Kate Budgen's production opens on 6 April, with previews from 1 April, and runs until 25 April. The production renews the creative collaboration with O'Neill, Budgen and Small Things Theatre following No Place For A Woman (Theatre503).

Entertainment One (eOne) announced today it has acquired the international distribution rights to France 2's highly anticipated crime drama “La Garconne,” from Paris-based, International Emmy-nominated production company, Mother Production and its co-producer Gedesel. The deal, which marks eOne's first French-language acquisition, was brokered by Noel Hedges, eOne's EVP, Acquisitions, International Distribution.

Bated Breath Theatre Company announces a fifth extension of their acclaimed immersive, environmental production UNMAKING TOULOUSE-LAUTREC, selected as one of the 11 a?oebest immersive plays and interactive theatrical experiences on Broadway and beyonda?? by Time Out. Performances will now continue through February 5, 2020 on a new performances schedule at Madame X in Manhattan's historic Greenwich Village, where performances began on May 8. Additional performances on December 6, 7 & 14 have also been added.
