Steppenwolf Theatre Company is pleased to announce the complete casting and directors for the first four shows of its 2018/19 season: Downstate by Pulitzer Prize-winning ensemble member Bruce Norris; Familiar by Danai Gurira; La Ruta by Isaac Gomez; and A Doll's House, Part 2 by Lucas Hnath. Directors Danya Taymor (Familiar) and Robin Witt (A Doll's House, Part 2) are added to the 2018/19 director lineup. Single tickets for Downstate and Familiar will go on sale Friday, August 10 at 11am. Single tickets for La Ruta and A Doll's House, Part 2 will go on sale Friday, October 19 at 11am. The Tony Award winning Best Musical Avenue Q will mark its 15th anniversary with 15 special performances at New World Stages (340 W. 50 St.) from July 18 to 29, 2018.

Boundless Theatre today presents a major revival of Judy Upton's Confidence. First performed in 1998 at Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Artistic Director of Boundless, Rob Drummer, directs the previously announced Tanya Burr in the role of Ella. She is joined by Anna Crichlow (Ruby), Vauxhall Jermaine (Edwin), Will Pattle (Dean) and Rhys Yates (Ben). The production opens at Southwark Playhouse on 25 May with previews from 23 May.

Uma Thurman has joined the cast of upcoming Netflix scripted, one-hour supernatural drama CHAMBERS. Thurman plays NANCY, the mother of a heart donor who forges a hesitant relationship with the young recipient only to find out her daughter may not be as dead as she thought.

Children of Bellevue's 22nd Annual "Toast to the Children" hosted by Top Chef's Tom Colicchio, takes place on Tuesday, April 24 at riverpark (450 E. 29th Street at First Avenue). Academy Award nominee Uma Thurman will be honored as a Children Champion for her past volunteer work with the organization. Ms. Thurman recently completed her Broadway debut in Beau Willimon's The Parisian Woman, which played a limited engagement at the Hudson Theater.
