Keen Company has announced details for Keen On New Work. Launched in October of 2013, The Keen Playwrights Lab brings together three playwrights in mid-career to develop new work through an environment of camaraderie and support. Santino Fontana, Celia Keenan-Bolger and more will be taking part.

There was a revolution on Broadway last night! Roundabout Theatre Company and the American Repertory Theater's new Broadway production of 1776, directed by Jeffrey L. Theatre Aspen (Jed Bernstein, Producing Director) announced that Avaaz by Michael Shayan and Sally: A Solo Play by Sandra Seaton have received grants from the Solo Flights Project Advancement Fund. Theatre Aspen has announced the cast and directors for its third annual Solo Flights, including two-time Tony Award winner James Naughton (Broadway’s Chicago). Solo Flights is Theatre Aspen’s developmental one-person show festival, running September 10-15, 2022, at the Hurst Theatre in Aspen, Colorado.

Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 announced today a new production of THE NOSEBLEED, written and directed by Aya Ogawa, which will begin performances Saturday, July 16 and run for six weeks only through Sunday, August 28 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).  Opening night is Monday, August 1.

The Public Theater and National Black Theatre will begin previews on Thursday, May 12 for the upcoming New York Premiere of FAT HAM, written by James Ijames and directed by Public Theater Associate Artistic Director and Resident Director Saheem Ali.
