She also starred on Broadway and on tour in Tommy Tune's production of 'Grease' and played Miss Hannigan in the 20th anniversary national tour of ANNIE.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, is pleased to announce the recipients of The Willa Kim Costume Design Scholarship 2019. Administered by TCG with support from The Estate of Willa Kim, the Scholarship provides exceptionally talented costume designers who are enrolled in a university or professional training program with the opportunity to supplement their fine arts training in hand-drawing and painting. The Scholarship honors costume designer Willa Kim's legacy and her life's work as a pioneer, legend, and inspiration for many of today's theatre artists.

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) and Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (Kinder HSPVA) announced a new partnership today that will provide theatre students at Kinder HSPVA with a four-year comprehensive musical theatre education.

Provincetown will see yet another return visitor when Lucie Arnaz returns to The Crown and Anchor for a one night only concert of her latest act ' I Got The Job: Songs From My Musical Past.' After selling out this same concert last year, producer Rick Murray asked Ms. Arnaz to return with the same show that had audiences cheering. Along with her musical director Ron Abel, the show will play Monday July 22,2019 at 8pm. Arnaz and Abel will bring this show to a many more venues over the next year, including New York's fabled 54 BELOW CLUB this fall .

Last night at The Green Room 42 (570 10th Avenue), Broadway star and recording artist Luba Mason (Chicago, Jekyll & Hyde, How to Succeed, recently earned a Lucille Lortel nomination for her role in the acclaimed Public Theater production of Girl From The North Country) premiered a new Broadway-centric concert, Luba Mason - 5' 10' with the pianist & music director to so many Broadway stars and legendary singers, Billy Stritch!

The Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival (FLMTF) opens its second production this season, the song and dance spectacular, Grand Hotel. The show runs July 10 through July 31 at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Emerson Park.

In its 24th season, the Crest Theatre at Old School Square announces the 2020 Broadway Cabaret Series. Presented in association with Mark Keller, the Broadway Cabaret series features Broadway's brightest stars, accompanied by legendary musical directors on Monday and Tuesday evenings!  The Philly POPS will give three performances during the annual Wawa Welcome America Festival, including POPS on Independence with Disney Princess Susan Egan and POPS on the Parkway with Academy and GRAMMY award-winning superstar Jennifer Hudson.
