City and Colour, acclaimed singer, songwriter and performer Dallas Green, debuts the first official radio single, “Strangers”, from his upcoming album, due this Fall on Green's newly minted Still Records, an imprint of Dine Alone Records. “'Strangers' is about how you will never truly know another human being,” says Green. “You'll never really understand what it's like to be inside someone else's brain or heart. So, we need to appreciate the differences. If we do, maybe we can live better with one another.” The single hinges on a buoyant riff and hummable groove and charges towards a ghostly refrain awash in reverb as Green pleads, “Don't wake me when this is over, just let me drift amidst my dreams.”
The Tank celebrates Pride month with the debut of Postcards from the Rearview Mirror, the latest one- woman musical by queer cabaret artist Sabrina Chap, at The Tank (312 West 36th Street, New York, NY, 10018) on Monday, June 24th at 7pm.

Internationally known singer-songwriter, Regina Spektor, will be coming to Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre this June! She will be performing as part of the In Residence On Broadway Series, from June 20 - 26th, 2019. Born in the Soviet Union and settling in the United States, Spektor has released several hit albums, including Begin to Hope, What We Saw From the Cheap Seats, and Remember Us to Life. She has also earned a Grammy nomination for her Orange is the New Black theme song, "You've Got Time.' Spektor is looking forward to paying tribute to the timelessness of Broadway, while making the concert series her own, with personal influences, unique theatrical elements, and more!

City and Colour (AKA acclaimed singer, songwriter and performer Dallas Green), debuts a new song, “Astronaut,” today. “Astronaut” is the first original music from City and Colour in almost four years and will be featured on his upcoming LP to be released this Fall on Green's newly minted Still Records, an imprint of Dine Alone Records. “I always think of the relationships in my life that have been fractured because I ended up doing what I do for a living,” says Green regarding the inspiration for the new song. “I'm always gone, wandering around and singing songs. However, it weighs on my family and friends. I'm asking for 'one more year'. I left home at 21 to go play my guitar. It's lonely, but it's because I yearn to wander. I'm aware of how lucky I am.”
JC Stewart has shared new single “Have You Had Enough Wine?,” an autobiographical account of the final conversation he had with an ex-girlfriend. “Have you had enough wine? “Have I ruined your life? I didn't mean to,” he sings, on the track produced by his regular collaborator, the Grammy Award-winning producer Fred Ball (The Carters). “The relationship was on the way out,” JC explains. “It takes those three lines and turns it into something bigger. The fourth Musco Center for the Arts season at Chapman University will run September 2019 through May 2020 with a packed schedule of artists and groups from the worlds of opera, dance, theatre, and classical music as well as Broadway, jazz, country, and American roots music. Among the special events will be several spectacular holiday celebrations, culturally specific performances and festivals, and a live orchestra accompaniment of Disney's Pixar movie music to screened excerpts from the studio's most popular films.

Music on the Plaza, Northrop's popular free summer concert series, returns to campus in June with a mix of new bands and returning favorites. A campus tradition since the 1950s, the popular music series features Minnesota bands with a worldwide variety of styles.
