The Roundhouse in association with leading live comedy production company Berk's Nest have announced the initial slate of 2023 programming for the first ever Roundhouse Comedy Festival.

After an acclaimed sell-out Edinburgh Fringe run, Rising star of stand-up Alex Kelly is embarking on a national tour of Winner Takes All between 30th January and April 27th, 2023.

Lively alt/indie-pop trio The Happy Fits have arrived with their highly anticipated third studio album, Under the Shade of Green, out everywhere now. In support of the new album, the band will hit the road this fall and winter across the EU and UK, with U.S. dates soon after with support from Daisy The Great and Phoneboy.

Francesca Moody Productions and Kater Gordon have announced the full cast for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2022 world premiere of KATHY AND STELLA SOLVE A MURDER! The five-strong cast features real-life best friends Bronté Barbé (Kathy) and Rebekah Hinds (Stella) in the title roles, playing Hull’s least successful true crime podcasters Kathy Baxter and Stella Carmichael.

United Agents have announced that Tom Rosenthal, star of Friday Night Dinner, Plebs and Drunk History, will take hit show Manhood on tour again in 2020, following a hugely successful Autumn tour and critically acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2019. The tour will begin at Hull Truck on Saturday 8th February 2020 and conclude at Oxford's Old Fire Station on Thursday 9th April 2020, taking in an initial total of 27 dates including a run at London's Soho Theatre from 16th to 21st March 2020. Leicester Comedy Festival, the longest running comedy festival in the UK, today launches its packed programme for 2020 with more venues, more talent and more unique events than ever before. The festival will feature over 1,600 performers, performing over 800 shows on more than 90 stages across Leicester & Leicestershire. Christopher Hampton's 1969 take on Moliere's The Misanthrope is often played with actors older than their characters, but director Simon Callow has recruited some of TV's bright young things to play the solipsistic academics. It may well attract new audiences to the West End, but this uncomfortable revival is unlikely to capitalise on that influx.
