Wharton Center has announced the First National Tour of MEAN GIRLS will be coming to East Lansing from Tuesday, March 1 to Sunday, March 6, 2022, as part of the MSU Federal Credit Union Broadway at Wharton Center Season.

HBO’s Phoenix Rising, a two-part documentary produced and directed by Amy Berg (HBO’s “The Case against Adnan Syed”), follows actress and activist Evan Rachel Wood as she takes her experience as a survivor of domestic violence to pursue justice, heal generational wounds, and reclaim her story. Broadway at The National will present a nine-show 2022/2023 season this summer at D.C.’s National Theatre. Tuesday February 22nd, Mint Theater Company will return to live performances with a new production of The Daughter-in-Law by D.H. Lawrence, first produced by the Mint in 2003. Previews began February 8th at New York City Center Stage II (131 West 55th Street, between 6th & 7th Avenues).

The track is taken from the Italo-Brazilian industrial / post-punk duo’s upcoming second album ‘NaN’. The follow-up to recent single “Fog”, new single “Eremita” is a transportative ballad in 5/4, with downbeat and sensual fusions of lo-fi glitches and acoustic instrumentation that nod towards the classic trip-hop sound.

Tina- The Tina Turner Musical celebrates it's 1000th West End performance which took place today, Saturday 19 February 2022, at the Aldwych Theatre. Pictured in the center of the photo below is the current star of the West End production of the musical, Aisha Jawando (Tina), surrounded by the rest of the company. MCC Theater announced today that Miscast22 will take place in-person, returning to the Hammerstein Ballroom on Monday April 4, 2022. 

On Tuesday, March 15, Vocal Arts DC will present soprano Elena Villalón in recital with pianist Kathleen Kelly. The concert will take place at 7:30pm at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts’ Terrace Theater.

The Dallas Opera has secured the cabin and announced takeoff for Flight, the opera based on the real-life story that also inspired Steven Spielberg's The Terminal. The Dallas premiere of Jonathan Dove and April De Angelis' contemporary masterpiece opens at the Winspear Opera House on Friday, March 4, 2022.
