Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, The New York Pops, led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke, will now open its 2022-23 season—its 40th anniversary—with The Music of Star Wars on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage (originally scheduled for February 10, 2023).

Berkshire Mountain Comedy Arts Festival and Shakespeare & Company present an evening of stand-up comedy and sit-down conversation with three-time Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs (MAC) Award-winning comedian Eddie Brill, Sunday, June 19 at 7 p.m. at the Tina Packer Playhouse.

This week marks a very important event for DC area arts education. On June thirteenth, The Theatre Lab School of the Dramatic Arts (TTL) held its very first class and co-founders Deb Gottesman, Buzz Mauro and Michael Rodgers never looked back. The organization has changed locations a few times over the years but the quality of the work that Theatre Lab’s instructors and administration have given to hundreds and hundreds of students has always remained at the top of its game.

Proctors in Schenectady will welcome the First National Tour of Mean Girls—the record-breaking new musical comedy produced by Lorne Michaels, Stuart Thompson, Sonia Friedman, and Paramount Pictures based on the hit film—will be coming to Proctors from Tuesday, June 28 to Sunday, July 3.

Aan het begin van komend theaterseizoen zal de productie Musical Autumn Nights te zien zijn in slechts zes Nederlandse theaters. De productie zal in september en oktober te zien zijn in Roosendaal, Den Haag, Spijkenisse, Veldhoven, Goes  en Uden. Vineyard Theatre has announced that Lessons in Survival: 1971 will resume performances on Wednesday, June 15 with Reggie D. White temporarily stepping into the role of James Baldwin. White is a co-conceiver of the show as one of the members of The Commissary and the Vineyard Theatre's 2022-2023 Colman Domingo Award recipient.
